Here is an interesting one. I bought this from a fellow on Ebay about 14-16 years ago. He lived in Michigan and somehow he came across some NOS Marbles blades that had never been sharpened, let alone mated to a handle. He took the NOS Marbles Jet Pilot Knife blade and mounted it into the new handle of the Chinese version of the pilot knife. Possibilities are numerous for this vintage blade. If a maker could free the blade from the handle, the sky is the limit. If not, the Chinese handle is not too bad. While it's been in my collection I have chosen NOT to sharpen it. So, iit remains a virgin edge. Lots of age related pitting and other stuff. I imagine it sat in a warehouse or barn for many years.

I am not an expert in dating vintage knives, but I believe this dates to the mid to late 50's when Marbles was hoping to obtain the government contract that eventually was rewarded to Camillus. However, if someone knows something different feel free to post the info.

I am asking $200 w/ free shipping. Paypal preferred. Please look closely at pictures before showing interest as this blade probably wouldn't stand up to daily usage and is mainly of historical interest. Comes with Chinese sheath and stone.
