Purchased (I think) in the late 1980s (?) by a close friend. He actually carried this and used it, often while backpacking, or letting it ride in a "kit" or pack that he left in the truck. It is in really good shape however for this knife, compared to many samples out there. The edge needs touching up if bought for a user, or just put it up and make other CS knife afis jealous... 
I thought he'd sent it down the line long ago in a trade, but found out he still owned it a couple years ago and I got it in a trade. I haven't carried it or used it, and my only joy is owning it. I have decided to let someone else have that joy.
