It's funny to think that a boot which was once standard for airborne operations is now considered dangerous to jump in and only suitable as a dress boot for those permitted to do so. ( at least that's what I've heard online)
Apparently they say if you jump in Corcorans you'll break an ankle, either people are just shunning something they consider outdated or the nature of parachuting has changed in some way.
I know next to nothing about the matter, but maybe someone who does could tell us why.
