You can see the Bob Loveless design influence on this Precise Deerslayer Ltd Drop Point Hunter made in Seki, Japan by Ichiro Hattori. Tak Fukuto of Seki. Japan was an undersudy of Bob Loveless in the 70's and returned to Seki, Japan to manufacture knives. Many of the Seki, Japan manufacturers adopted the Loveless Design and rightfully so, it is a great design. Ichiro Hattori usd the drop point design of many of his knives.
This knife knife has a 3.5" drop point blade of 440 Stainless Steel (later believed to be AUS 8) and a white handle with palm swell for comfort. OAL 8", weight of knife 6 oz, knife and leather sheath 7.4 oz. Knife shows no signs of use of sharpening, in fact there is still a burr on the tip of the blade that was not removed. Leather sheath show some wear but minor. Knife has a great feel and is extremely sharp.
