First up for today...


All 3 have fiber? & brass spacers for the stacked handle. Nickel butt & brass guards. 3/16" stock I do believe carbon steel with a high polish. 1970's vintage (?) ,un used ,stored away for years.



Dagger is 10-3/8" OAL with 5.5" of edge ,double ground . Marked Sheffield England $old

Hunters (2) are 9" OAL with 4.5" of edge. Filework section on spine $70 ea.

This post is 4 wood handled bowie all four $65. ea.

Rosewood ? Carbon ? 1970's ? Wright factory ? I do know for sure they need a polish. Sturdy knives,grinds come down to thin edges , and I suspect if you honed them up they'd be real good slicers for camp work.

These three are 10-3/8" OAL with 5.5" of edge ,3/16" thick stock stamped Sheffield England on tang & " Bowie knife" etched on blade ,one side

This one is etched " Bowie Knife" on blade & William Rodgers Sheffield England
It has wider diameter handle pins 10-1/8" OAL with 5.25" of edge & stock thickness is 5/32"

Next item is a 6 knife ,steak knife set. JT Wright & Daughter Sheffield England . These are integral guard,tapered tang,hollow ground ss. Marked Stainless steel. Looks like East Indian Rosewood. Unfortunately one knife has been used possibly and even might have been run through a dishwasher. The sticker on box cover says don't do it Anyhow these are a lot nicer than any steak knives I've ever had on my table. Front sections of blade have fine serrations. Full size & feel great in hand 9-5/8" OAL with 4-3/4" of cutting edge. The non serrated section of the blade needs some tune up. I'm taking the pictures and I can't help to think a knife maker who hollow grinds could re grind these & they'd make a great all around knife.
