The Puma Von Frankenberg (CK-734) is a commemorative knife that the most discriminating collector will cherish for its outstanding workmanship and very limited edition. Only 734 pieces were produced for worldwide distribution. It commemorates the consecration in the year 734 of the first church in the village the founders of Puma, Von Frankenberg family, originally settled. The blade has beautiful deep etching with gold fill on both sides. An inscription and coat of arms is on one side and the serial number 318 on the other. Handle is African Elephant Ivory hand carved with European Wild Boar scene on one side and Royal Red Stag on the other. The bolsters are elaborately engraved with oak leaves. This knife was made in 1978 and has been safely displayed in a collection since then. Overall length of this piece is 8-5/8" and the blade is 3-3/4" long.(Game Warden size knife). Comes with a nice display with a walnut base and velvet inset for the knife. Also has a plexiglass cover for the display. This piece of knife history is like new and perfect in every way. In 1978 when this knife was issued the MSRP was $1000!
Send me your trade offers. Multiple, less expensive knives are good;Case, etc. Guns will be considered. Don't need anymore kids, so don't offer. And I have a wife of my own! Get creative and let me know, this has been a safe queen and needs a new home!
