I recently acquired a small collection of vintage 1930's Remington knives, I have two knives that I am selling to fund another purchase.
The first is a USA Remington UMC Purina advertising knife has been used and the blades have been lightly sharpened. There is spotting and discoloration on the blades, the awl appears to be slightly short. No cracks in the handles. Good snap. This 4 blade knife has an awl blade, large, med, and small spear blade. Measures 3-3/8" closed and approximately 6-3/4" opened. The red and white checker board squares with the word "Purina" appears on both sides of the knife. Asking $125 Price Drop to $100 for this one. Paypal is OK, price includes CONUS shipping.
The second is a nice 1930’S Vintage Remington Pyremite Candy Stripe Toothpick Knife fine condition. This is just a handful of a knife measuring approximately 5” closed. Very pretty candy stripe pyremite handles show some pocket wear and a spot near the middle pin. The blades snaps open nicely but is a bit slow on the close and rubs one liner. Asking $50 Price Drop to $40 Paypal is OK, price includes CONUS shipping.
