Here are a set of vintage S&W boot knives. One is the black blade version and one is satin stainless. Neither have ever been carried, used, etc., but both have been in their sheaths. They are in near perfect condition. I don't have the boxes for either one. The brass guards could use polishing, so I did it(last pic). These knives were made from 440-C.
The third is one for you Smatchet lovers. A "First Production Run", S&W #830 Military. It is a miniature copy of the Applegate/Fairbairn Smatchet from WWII. The knife is in "as new" unused condition and does come with the box. The box was printed with Police #830 model, but someone lined over the word Police and hand wrote Military next to it. Probably done at the factory, since the Military was the #830 model, and this being the first production run, they might not have had labels ready. For you Smatchet lovers, and/or you S&W lovers, this is a pretty hard-to-find knife.
All three of these knives were made in the U.S.A., not China, like all the late model S&Ws.
All three (Withdrawn).
