This is an excellent Swedish hatchet in great shape. The head and handle are both superb. The bit, surfaces, eye and poll are all in top used shape. The new hickory handle is tight, has been mounted with a new wooden wedge and has been treated with boiled linseed oil. The bit has been hand sharpened to a shaving edge.
The total weight is 30oz and it is 13-1/2" long. The 1-1/4lb head is 5-1/8" long with a 3" edge.
