Vintage, USA made, Waltco brand Saf-T-Sheath folding knife - very reminiscent of a balisong. To my understanding this knife was made in the 1950s, in several blade variants, for outdoor/hunting/fishing activities. This particular model has a fish scaler at spine for fishing. blade is made of tool steel. Edge, in my opinion, is keen. Burgundy/dark red plastic scales. Apparent signs of patina, age and use. I see no broken, loose, or missing parts. Folds easily.
Blade and outside of handles are marked, see photos for close-ups. Also, inside of each liner there is a house/pentagon shaped logo with the numbers 3661 1 & on the inside of the other the numbers 3661 4.
A neat conversation piece for any knife collection.
