Got home kinda late and the power is out but lantern light will have to do for a quick picture since I had them out touching up the edges before a weekend coyote hunt. Unbuffed VIP / ECAM / and the unmounted set is a buffed and well used set of VIP for comparison ...

It was pretty heavy. We were struggling with it. I'll speculate it might have been close to 200 lb

Edit:

I just calculated it with some math and it's about 220 lb

Which is why I was struggling to "pick up my end"

Thanks for pulling those posts over! I hadn’t gotten around to doing so yet.

I should get a few new pics of the SSDFK with the VIP. The color has deepened nicely. I’d call it a dark butterscotch.

Nope, it was a 4x8 sheet until Ben and I cut it into strips. There's more. Much more. It's fantastic stuff and I can offer it for a very good price because I have a bunch of it and it's not some challenging form factor to work with.

Ok, in my mind all CPK scales and knives are made in a “clean room” type environment, with everyone wearing those blue paper gowns, etc.

I don’t like seeing how the sausage is made………..!
