Forgive the lousy pic, just got home, late, and a quick snap under artificial light.

Many of us are familiar with the quality and attributes of Viper BladeForums 2020 knife - a successful modern take on the Wharnie Swayback.

This one is new from their stable and designed by Sasha Thiel, in turn inspired by the Native from Jared Oeser.

An M390 blade and one-piece Ti liner/double bolster; good sturdy pull; stop-pin and ph.bronze washers.

The handle on this one is carbon-fibre mix with blue G10 - delightfully tactile.

Blade's cutting edge just under 3".

Will play some more and take better pics soon.........very glad I nabbed one, quick - and I hear there's more to come...

Wow! I do like the looks of that, Paul! I really like the blade profile, and m390 is an excellent steel! Congrats!

Excellent long blade, looks like it would be very well-balanced in the hand- a vital aspect. Like the leatherwork too.

Big fan and user of last year's Forum Knife, that steel stays endlessly sharp, appreciate the lack of weight too very tidy in the pocket.

Still clinging to the hope that Viper will get that Lambfoot project off the ground, be nice to have a decently made one-apart from the GEC.

I think a gentleman like that would live nice in my pocket! Thanks for sharing.

Man, that's beautiful. I usually don't like full-sized nail nick slip joint knives, but this is too sweet to pass up. I'm a sucker for any knife with Fat Carbon Blue Dark Matter scales / handles.

Just ordered the 1 you have.

These have my attention. Just how sturdy would you say the pull is, Paul?

I ordered the white g10 version. Can’t wait to check it out and try that blade shape out for use.

Really like your photos of this one, and dig them scales! Love the shape of the handle, I would love to check this one out, but my searches were in vain. I hope they keep this one in production and am on the lookout to grab one at some point.

I think it would appeal more to me if it either had a true Wharnecliff blade or if the blade followed the profile less the swages (which add nothing to this blade shape).
