Very inspirational. I love how much he uses bronze, it's a very underrated metal these days. It seams to me that much of his work has ancient Egyptian undertones -anybody else notice this?

Really enjoyable thread! Thanks much for the treat.
I,ve always loved Virgil's art. He,s the most insane knife maker I,ve ever seen. There's no predicting what's next.

This level of awesome makes my brain bleed! Virgil's stuff is so wicked that it seems like it should be radioactive

Wow! Usually not my thing, but there are some beautiful items there and not just knives either.

There is just someting about the style of the artworks, that speak to me.

Very well executed indeed.

Looks like the awesome Frank Frazetta would have felt right at home there.

Thanks for posting.

I have no idea who he is, but I like what I see.

I guess I need to do some googling!

Thanks for sharing.

Very cool. Thank you for taking the time to show these to us. I was very fortunate to meet him and spend a good amount of time with him very early when I started collecting customs. A very bright and entertaining maker. Coop, Win, gthouse, Bruce and others describe the man well.

Thanks much for the chance to see such a variety of Mr. England's pieces in one place. He strikes me as being the Frank Frazetta of metalwork...amazing talent.

Glad you guys liked the pictures...wish I had a better camera at the time. It was a cool exhibit. You could stay there all day getting lost in the small details on his work.

Virgil England makes some cool sh#@! I own the "Dirty Deeds" Chaos Arena Fighter 1998 and "Night Wind", a heavy fighter. His stuff isn't cheap and I seldom see it available on the open market. Both of my pieces were exquisitely made. Gary J.

Four year old thread. Old as dirt. Just like the Cronk thread. Just pointing out for the mod who closed your Cronk thread.
