Virginia CK&T mall stores closing....

My biggest problem with CK&T was that they almost never carried any of their models in plain edged form. They were almost always either fully serrated or partially serrated and I don't generally like serrations on a knife. When they have had ones w/o the serrations, I have bought knived from them and they have been willing to meet competitive prices when I brrought in printed proof of the price. But the staff kept changing and I could never keep up with them except the store down in Springfield Mall. Does anyone know if they're still open?

Last time I looked (Friday last week) CK&T was still open in Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, MD.

I didn't see any signs indicating any special sales due to the current circumstances of them closing some of their stores.

I'm proud to say that I worked for CK&T for about three years... it was only when I was moved to one of their airport stores (no knives) that I decided to quit. The company is going through a reorganization right now, so I doubt the low store count will last forever. Also, look for the website (which currently sucks) to be turned into something decent over the next few months. Anyway, if anybody happens to be flying through Reagan National or Dulles airports, look for Chesapeake Journey: it's the airport-safe version of CK&T. Obviously there are no items that might commonly be construed as weapons, but they sell SureFires, pens, luggage, and other neat toys.

Springfield Mall location just closed recently, should have been in my original post but I had "Landmark" down twice. Edited now.
