99.999% of anything that is forwarded to you that says "forward to everyone you know" like virus alerts, forward-and-receive-money, etc. are nothing more than hoaxes. Go to
www.UrbanLegends.com/ulz to see all the crazy crap that people believe and forward. You will probably find a lot of the ones you have received in the past. These are nothing more than e-mail chain letters, or just hoaxes in general. Apparently, some people just like the idea of making something up with the thought that so many people will get it because of all the other gullible (yes I looked it up

) people out there. In other words, if you get something that tells you to forward it to everyone you know, it is a hoax. Just delete it. If it is a story or something that you like, and would like to share, but it has something about receiving bad luck if you don't forward it to at least 10 people in the next 10 minutes, just erase that part before you forward it. Also, be kind and erase the mile and a half of previous e-mail addresses that show up before the story. In other words, erase everything except the story that you want to share with your friends. As far as knowing if virus alerts are for real, just go to
www.norton.com or
www.mcaffee.com and sign up for e-mail alerts. If you get an alert from them, it's for real. Sorry this is so long, but I get so sick of getting all the junk e-mails from friends that don't know any better.
