I had a great time at Louis shop. He has a great family. We pounded three knives out of leaf springs and had a little barbeque and some good wine. We talked about knives all night.
If you ever get the chance to visit Lou, you won't be disappointed. He is "VERY" talented with an angle grinder. He also a very good forger. He appears to be in a transition stage of his knifemaking journey. It will be very interesting to see what comes out of his shop in the near future.
