Here are two knives carved by Vladimir Burkovski (Israel) that
were brought by him to the recent Milan Knife Show.

The photography is by Francesco Pachi.

I decided to post these two works of art even though
the small files sent to me by Vlad via email do not do justice
to Francesco's amazing original pictures...

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

I do not always like his knives but his carving is always top notch. As is the case with these two. Especially the second handle is very beautiful.

Amazing talent! Ever since seeing the frogs (earlier work) i think this artist is in a league of his own. Enormously talented., With that said, it makes me wonder if knife handles are the ultimate vehicle for his work? It could easily be its own entity. Why knives? - not a complaint..

+1 I like the chute knife, but the carving skills are more impressive than the knives to me. I always enjoy seeing Vladimir's carvings.
