Voided My Warranty (Modded My Special)

spheenx, no I didn't. But I tried to pick a dead tree, although it was still standing. I didn't want to kill a live one either.

What about the pic all the way to the RIGHT. That would be a HOLE in the side of a tree.
The picture to the right is looking at the same cut off branch. There is a second tree behind it.

Good thing I didn't post a pic of me clubbing a trout with my fixed Alpha, cutting it up, putting a stick through that Little Nemo, and roasting it on the coals.

...from the tone of his first comment I could see that it was one that didn't even warrant a response...
P.S....gonna smoke a 20 pound "lil' Nemo" this week end...LOL...

Yeah, I thought the same this AM when I read it too. Must have all metal or rubber liners.
BTW DarrylS...where the heck do you get big ass rolling papers for 20 pounds to smoke?

:D ...LOL...It ain't hard to find papers...Old newspapers work okay...it's keeping the fins in the paper that's the toughy...to say nothin' about how hard ya gotta "suck" to git 'em lit...   :p

lagarto,
I thought you might enjoy a couple of original 639's out of the the old custom shop, 1 polished, the other waiting for a trip back to Buck.

WARNING! IMAGE THAT MAY BE DISTURBING TO VEGANS FOLLOWS!!!

Tree Huggers delight...

Ya know, I have never really used my serrated 110 as a "saw". Obviously, what I did should not void my warranty, but I wanted to see how the serrated works other than for stripping wire and other light jobs.

Here is a frozen chicken...

* No trees were harmed during the production of this test.

Is this thread back on track or are we still talking about cutting down trees.
I wanted to conduct a test on a newly sharpened chain saw blade. If I cut down this tree, will my view be improved and will i have more wood for my fireplace. If i knew how to post pictures, I would show one of my now bigger wood pile and my now improved view. Test sucessful.
I fear there was a live tree that was hurt while conducting this test although I doubt he felt a thing, I did not hear it cry out anyways...:p

Nice job on that 119 by the way!

Scott Hartmann,
Thanks for the pics, those are beautiful knives. Wish they were still in production.

Scott, are you capable of modifying a 119 in such a way that it would look like the ones in your pics? If you can would you please shoot me an email about what it would cost? Thanks.

Lagarto

I am not set up to modify 119's, you already know first hand how hard it is to work heat treated 420HC. I don't have a mill. Shoot Leroy Remer an email. He worked in the custom shop. He does awesome work.
