Two different knives in terms of shape and size, but two unique ones.
Stuck making up my mind as to which to buy.
Pro/Con of each?
Photos would be nice

Thx

volpe is a dress knife and kris is more of a do everything knife, both are excellent blades, but as stated the volpe is more of a dresser

Get the Kris. It's a great knife that should appreciate in time. I love mine.

Agreed. If it were me I would get the Kris for sure. I'm sure you'll be happy with which ever one you decide to go with. You can't go wrong with Spyderco.

I like both. The Volpe is nicely finished, with olive wood overlays, a laser-cut bug in the handle (very cool)and made by Fox of Italy, for Spyderco and has the distinction of being a frame-lock.
The Kris is nicely finished also and a rather unique one for sure with it's blade shape. Also designed by Schempp, like the Persian and we all know how desired the large Persian has become since it's no longer available.
But, I'd get the Kris first because both are discontinued and the Kris is definitely harder to find.

I didn't know that the Kris was discontinued. Thanks for the heads up Jill. I may be shopping for one too. :)

I really like the Kris, but I find it to be a little heavy in the pocket- great knife all around tho.
I say get it.

- I can get some pictures for you latter this afternoon

here you go-

Volpe is a great slicer. Unfortunately (i found) the handle a little small, and difficult to grip, making it difficult to unlock.

ordered the kris from Warriors and Wonders - if any one is interested it appears they have a few more in stock

I'm still looking for a Volpe. :D

Of the two, that'd be the one I get first. I try to use all my knives if I can help it, and I think the Kris would be more eye candy for me then a user. Not that it's just eye candy, I've heard it's an exceptionally functional blade.
