That model 12 you guys have is pretty awesome! Can’t wait for the 13 and then the 14 (presumably).

Should be some nice, big, and meaty ones if they are, or will be in the works

A Kephart. I know lots of folks find them boring, but they can do pretty much everything well and I really like them.

To be honest, as happy as I have been with Volunteer, anything they come out with I plan to get. The 4-2 is so comfortable…

Just ordered this one from Bart. My fourth Volunteer knife. I haven’t found anything better or a knife maker that runs his business as well as Bart and Whitney. The Model 12 might be my next one, already have a Model 11

Sweet! His take on the Kephart is just perfect. I truly can’t say enough good things about Volunteer- truly top notch knives and people.
I have 2 model 12’s (one without finger choil), and they are just fantastic. The weight and balance allow for very fast chopping motion which allows them to cut above their size. I think you will love the 12 if you decide to get one.
