The Vortex HD is 1/4", satin finished ATS-34, double edged.

The blade is 5 1/4" long, aprox. 1 1/2" wide, with an OAL of 11".

The sheath was made by Eric (Normark) from "On Scene Tactical!

The Vortex HD has bead blasted black linen Micarta scales with black micarta pins and carbon fiber thong tube.

Can't afford this one Rick, but I do have a question for you. How do you get those nice curves to the grind at the ricasso? I can't seem to picture how I'd manage that....

Sorry for not posting sooner, but my internet modem fried, had to get a new one! All is good now.

Deker, send me an email, and i'll try to splain it to you.

David, it is not chisel ground. It has the same grind on the flip side.

I will edit my post to add photos of the flip side and sheathed, both sides.

Yes!

The Vortex originally started out smaller.

This photo shows the differance between the smaller Vortex (bottom), and the bigger Vortex.
