Just put my vote in....still at 45% SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I voted yesterday. Wonder if they'll report the poll in their print mag.
 
I can't believe Mr. Busse, honorable man that he is would be too proud of finding out that his fan base cheated his way to the top. Frankly I'm shocked at some of you guys participating in this multiple vote scam. You should be ashamed.

What scam? Who are we scamming?, and what are we scamming them out of?
It's a poll, not an election or a contest where anyone will win anything.
I don't see how we are hurting anything, AND IF they were really serious about keeping it 100% honest, they would change their voting protocol. How do we know that the Kershaw voters aren't cheating?
 
That is the problem. You don't see it. You guys just don't get it. It is other than honorable. Is that not enough? I guess not. The Kershaw guys haven't started a thread advertising it. I doubt seriously if Busse would have that big of a lead if it wasn't for some of you guys voting in excess of 10 times.

It takes away the integrity of the poll, the magazine, reflects badly on you and anyone that agrees with you. I could go on. It hurts you probably reflects badly on your rep as well as those doing the same thing.

I can't believe you don't get it. You guys are wrong in doing this. Its not fair and its not right. I don't know how you sleep at night if you can behave this way. Truthfully go tell your pastor or Rev. or Priest what you did here and see what he tells you.

FIRST of all, we are not mutiple voting. The website will not allow you to vote but one time. And this just shows how loyal the Busse Fans are to their company. I don't think we have to do anything to show that we are passionate about quality knives!!!!!!
 
Obviously you have not read the whole thread. Some of the guys here admit to multiple voting. I have no doubt that they did and they even told people how to do it.
I don't think they did that just to make themselves look bad. I think they did it and just don't get that its not right like Walking man and a list of others. Voting multiple times has nothing to do with popularity. If a hundred people vote ten times each it doesn't make the one they voted for popular guys..

This poll comes from a magazine that sells advertising space to companies on the same pages that the reviews are on. I don't think honor applies to them. I understand what you are saying and you are right, but Blade's ethics are based largely on $$$$$.
 
You guys honor a long tradition each time you buy a handmade knife like that made by Mr. Busse. You honor him when you use it and tell your friends about it and you honor him when you praise it and shake his hand to thank him for his fine contribution to the knife industry.

A handmade knife is nostalgic and it is a symbol and reminder of a time past when a handshake was good enough, of a time when common decency and courtesy was the rule instead of the exception. Call me what you will but this does nothing to honor the traditions of this man or his products and really hurts me to see it. It is part of the problem in this world of the internet and complete detatchment to the morals we all know but seem to have forgotten once we get a keyboard in our lap. Its also the same kind of crap child play that had Spark pull our point system.

You guys knock off the foul play. If not for me for yourselves. This old fart can tell you that although you might think this is innocent its not. Someone somewhere put some work into this and really wants to see the 'natural' course of the results. Not your blatant abuse of the system and lack of conscience doing it.

Thats all I'm going to say about it. I rarely come here to post but I have met Mr. Busse and don't like what I see happening here.

We are at #1 with 41% 140 votes the closest competition is kershaw with 16% and maybe 40 votes
 
I'm having visions of someone waving their arms wildly and stomping their feet. Tantrums can happen anywhere I see. My 4 year old gets upset when she sees others don't do what she percieves as right to her. We are voting on popularity, not morality.

Yea but in reality i bet more people own a kershaw compared to owning a busse.;)
