When I EDC a SAK, it’s most often this ALOX Electrician - that Sheepfoot blade makes all the difference. OH

That's my only SAK. Nice knife. I had to have one just because I was a journeyman electrician decades ago.

Sweet! I'm ignorant (and thus frightened 😂) of performing electrical work, but like Old Hunter said:

For me, that sheepsfoot does make all the difference! I like the punch too!

My favorites are the Recruit, Pioneer, Cadet and the Rambler. The Rambler has been in my left front pocket everyday since I got it over a year ago along with a small flashlight. Gotta have them scissors! I bounce around on the others with the Recruit as my most chosen. I have 2 Pioneers. 1 stays in my truck console. I've tried all kinds of pocket knives over the last 20 years or so and it seems like I have finally bonded with the SAK line for some reason. I got other traditional slip joints, but it seems like the SAK hits the sweet spot for me. That and a couple of Buck knives stay available on my nightstand for daily carry.

I voted Rambler and Walker because I have carried those in the past, but I gave my Rambler to my wife and switched to a Minichamp, and switched out the Walker for a Fieldmaster. I don't carry my Electrician, but it is always close by here at home.

I went with a cadet but to tell the truth I am never without an alox companion.

Curious about the lack of love for the Bantam. The Alox version is just about the slimmest carry out there. Mine is part of the regular rotation.

Some day I’ll pull the trigger on a Compact but I don’t feel too rushed.

Used to have a Spartan and really loved the blade combination.

I voted Farmer Alox. It is the clear winner for me, as I do not have a need for scissors on a pocket knife.

This is a fun poll, I enjoy reading everyone's opinion.

Not on the list, my vote would go for the one I’ve carried the majority of the last 17yrs, the Explorer Plus.

I carry an Alox Farmer daily no matter what else I carry. I used to carry an Alox Pioneer X, but find I actually use the saw on the Farmer far more than the scissors on the Pioneer X.
The SAK saw is one of the finest of all the saws on folders I have come across. It really cuts well.

I go back and forth on what SAK I like best. I carried a Pioneer for 5+ years in my back pocket starting when I was in the army. While in the military I had other multitools and real tools close by so I didn't need much more on a SAK. I carried a huntsman for a while, and I think that might be one of the best ones they have if a little over kill sometimes. If I carried only one knife a day that would probably be it.

But like many of us afflicted with this illness, my SAK is usually just the secondary knife in my pocket. So a huntsman is a little big for that role. So lately I've been carrying a tinker around. It's slim in the back pocket and while no saw or scissors it has enough tools to be useful.

The harvester (I believe they call it the “7” now) is probably my favorite. I also carry a Spartan quite often.
