We had the students at our school all vote today. Even though they know they are too young to vote they were excited to take part in the process. And they actually had "reasons" why they wanted one candidate over another. Promising.

Vote completed!

Go do it even if you don't like any any of the candidates. Choose! Show the ones who do get elected how many citizens are concerned and watching what they do and whether they live up to their campaign promises! Show them we care what's going on and give them hell if they don't do what they promised!

Voted around 1:30 and there where only 4 people there to vote, and 6 voting boths...in and out:thumbup:

I voted this morning- it was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. It only took about 45 minutes. There were a bunch of maroons here in Atlanta camping out last night, afraid the lines were going to be crazy long. Good thinking, fellas. In order to avoid "long lines", you waited longer than anyone else. :chuckle:

I'll be drinking hard tonight, here's hoping the map will still be more red than blue after the dust settles.

Very Promising -

Imagine - having a well thought out reason for voting for someone! Cant say that about most adults .....

I live in a young neighborhood and over the years we have very low voter turn out. Today there were 40-50 yard-long lines down the block at the polls I passed on the way to work.

If that is any indication turn out will be huge!!!

Whichever way this turns out ... that makes me a happy boy. :D

Voted Friday. The line was 1.5hrs long. I will not be going anywhere near the one TV, without cable, in our house for a few days.

Yay, no more political ads.
