Friends you need to know what just happened and what an outstanding kind generous person VPK78 is=

Ive been on a roller coaster of emotions for the past week, my wonderful partner and nurse wife has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and transported to the Colorado Springs Cancer Unit since last Friday...
I've been going thru hell and so has my wife= 3 procedures within 1 week, CT SCANS, biopsy's, draining fluid (3liters) off her lungs, etc...

Today the mailman brought an unexpected package from member VPK78, and left it on our porch.

Ive been frantically arranging "power of attorney" and trying to "get things in order" as her doctor has suggested preparing to eventually "settle her estate".

I just opened up the package up from member VPK78 and literally tears ran down my face in shock and disbelief = he sent me my GRAIL KNIFE, totally unasked, unsolicited, and unexpectedly = The HG55 Military Overun, sterile, INFI, badass.

I previously owned a Busse HG55 MO and sold it when another great member inquired about it asking if I'd sell it to him, I did.
Well, ever since I've been on the prowl posting "want to buy" and searching endlessly for another in any condition...
I have a 1 Tree leather sheath from another knife that amazingly fits it like a glove!

all I can say is THANK YOU VPK78, actions speak louder than words my friend!
I will find a way to repay you in time!

I've always been amazed at the generosity between members of the knife community. it's a joy.

another nurse at her hospital has begun a page for donations as my wife being at this hospital less than a year now has limited healthcare.
prayers and positive thoughts help lots, if you can help in any way please do- it's about to very rough & very bumpy on this road fighting cancer. The nice write up explains her situation and some info about us.
