Brand new out of box.....never cut anything. Very sharp and beard is factory sharp as well. VTAC tomahawks are incredibly durable. I've used and abused them for many years, but never got around to ever taking this one out of the sheath except to take the photo you see here.
Built for breaching, throwing (throws like a DREAM!) and defensive deployment. VTACs can hook and release like no other. Awesome hawk.
