W-2 Bowie/Fighter

This is the second blade I have forged out of Don III's W-2. Started out by cutting the round bar in half, welding on a handle and then heading over to Ray Coon's to use his Little Giant. Cut that bar in half and then hand forged the blade. This knife has an 8 1/2" blade, iron fittings, a bronze spacer and a curly bubinga handle. 14" overall.

That is a really good looking knife. I like the color combination created by the guard and bubinga handle. Bubinga is one of my favorite woods for knife handles. The rest of the knife looks good too, but the handle is what caught my eye.
