Hello all,

To be honest I haven't got a lot of knives built this summer, been to busy with the Mrs. and the kids and golf and fishing and BBQing and drinking beer:D. It's been a good summer:thumbup:. Time to go back to work and pump out some knives. I've been doing a bunch of experiments with hamon's on integrals and this is the first bowie sized blade. I've had a bunch of help trying to figure this stuff out and I'd like to thank those of you who have answered all my questions. So thank you Nick, DHIII, Stuart B, D Lisch and Dan Pfanenstiel for all your help.

This is a W-2 bowie with steel from DHIII. The blade is 8 1/4" with the OAL 13 1/2". It has a 416 SS double guard with red and SS spacers. The Desert Ironwood is straight grained per customers request with a domed NS pin. The blade is finished to 1200 grit with a swedge clip.

Hope you like it.

Nice knife Mike. The hamon looks great. I struggle with them. I have a hard time getting them to look the way I want them to look. Great job as always bud.

Mike, This bowie is stunning. Of Course so are the rest of your knives. Be sure to give me a call next time your over in Elko. Would love to have you out to visit.

Great knife all around Mike. The hamon is really cool and the rest of the knife showcases your usual super clean fit and finish.
