W-2...cord wrap & hamon............

Between orders I like to make knives for shows and just cause I want to.:D
Here is one I was playing around with. Hand forged from a 5/8" round bar of W-2 the blade is 6 3/4" long by 1" at it's widest... 11 1/4" OAL. Clay coat heat treat with a 1500 grit hand rub... epoxy coated black and teal cord with a little "red" perch skin underlay on one side. $SOLD Thank you! Just to let you all know too....the hamon does not run out the tip...that is a shadow or reflection. It was very hard to get a good shot of all the action going on. Here is another shot.

dang...this i would love to give this one a home...but i have two orders already. i notice the cord wrap is has alot of epoxy coating...did you coat the wrap well enough to take out the "roughness
" of the cords?
