Beyond happy with how this turned out!
Alot of times I'll collect scales and keep them just because they are incredibly beautiful on their own.
This set of black ash is wild and deeply beautiful, I couldn't capture it on camera but the chattoyance and depth of this wood is insane.
I've had this set of double dyed black ash burl for probably 4-5 years, I've always wanted to put them on something. Nothing ever felt good enough or felt right until this knife!
Do you guys ever go through that? Hoarding precious material for a project that suits it just right? I know quite a few of us makers are greedy little material goblins
