Chris, I received the EDU today. You were right... the pics didn't do it justice. Nice rosewood. Fit and finish are excellent. Love the tapered tang and flat grind, and the unique utility blade profile. I like the hammered flats even better than spalting... creates an interesting texture both to touch and with how it reflects light.

Thanks for a great knife, and keep up the great work!
