thanks everyone for the comments.

Jared, core on the other side is pretty consistant with this side, there is a slight pattern difference but I contribute that to forging it to shape instead of just grinding it all away, a slight more movement from one side to the other with the hammer will change things up a little, but it sure opens up the pattern better.

Thanks again,

Bill

Bruce! Where did all your words escape to?? Ha Ha, just trying to get cha.
Great knife Bill, but more than that was the thought that went into the making of it. This one took some thought. I was proud of a "W" pattern folder blade I just finished, but after seeing this, I think I'll just put mine on my workbench somewhere, and go fine a nice cave to crawl into.

I like it when the sides match up  I have seen some blades around here (won't mention a maker) with 1.5" of damascus on one side, and barely .25" on the other, they're nice blades but I just don't care for the look, I don't care if it's off a little, nice knife once again!

Thats nice Bill! words are escaping me at the moment.

And likewise here ! WOW , is the only thing I can come up with at the moment. I think that is one of the most beautiful pieces of work I have seen you make Bill. No kidding. You have set a very, very high mark my friend   Curious to know whether or not this will be judged at BLADE too. If so, and its a "whos do you like better" kind of judging, I would say the competition is in trouble ;)

WOW, thanks everyone for the great comments.

David, no its not a Blade show knife, this one was an order.

Thank you all,

Bill
