"W" Pattern Damascus

Trying to find a tutorial for making "W" pattern damascus, if any one knows of one, please post a link or describe, thanks in much advance!

look at the custom and handmade Kyle has a post up where he is making some W pattern.

There's a really good section in Blade's Guide to Making Knives that covers it. Would post a scan but that would be a copyright violation

Start with a 9 layer billet, alternating equal thickness materials.
Once welded, turn 90* and draw out to 1/4 the thickness of the original billet height.
Cut and stack 4 sections to make a square bar again, weld and draw out to 1/4 the thickness again.
Cut and stack 4 sections to make the square billiet again, re-weld and draw out.

That's pretty much it according the the article.
