W1 as blade steel

yes about 100-120ºF on a normal 70-80º day I'll heat up chunk of folded up leafspring and that brings it up to temp pretty well.
 
Nick, we probably have the same stuff. Seems like all the rounds (or most) are from the same melt or at least very close.

The square stock is from a diff melt though but it seems good, I haven't used much in a few years.

Also the specs can vary a bit from one end of a melt to the other, but just a little.
