I forged this out of 3/4" W1 drill rod. It was clay quenched and etched to reveal a nice bold hamon.
The handle is some really nice desert ironwood. It is polished and shaped to fit comfortably in the hand. The knife is a through tang and peened on the end. Everything is held with epoxy and the mechanical bond of the peened tang.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It holds the sheath securely and allows for a smooth draw.
Dimensions
Blade - 5" tip to handle
Cutting edge - 4 1/2"
OAL - 9 3/8"
Price - $sold shipped to US. I will ship internationally for an additional fee.
I will have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it!" gets it.
