Phillip, I just now checked out your website.
You seem pretty serious about doing this as your livelihood, and I think that's great! I hope you persevere, as you apparently have a lot of talent for it.

I wish you the best of luck for your journeyman smith testing. And when the grey sock fund can handle it, I would very much like to buy a knife from you. But I suppose I should act quickly, before your prices go up! (very reasonable now, but with that JS stamp, I'd expect at least a 10-15% increase...)

I dont' have the best monitor on this lap-top, but the pins look centered in the pics to me.

Looks like a shoe-in for a Js stamp

the edge is very thin, but the spine is almost 1/4" thick at the guard, and tapers to the point.

Ooooh! Does this knife get destructively tested (90° bend and stuff) or will it survive pretty much intact?

Love the hilt and the spacers look great. The Choil is awesome, every thing works well together. Great size for a user! Sing me up ... for one, or two of these!
