This one is W2. The steel bar in the picture is the source steel for this knife. The blade was clay quenched for a very nice hamon. The spine is fileworked.

The handle consists of black linen micarta bolsters and bone colored micarta handle scales. They are held in place by regular pins, mosaics and acraglas

The sheath is 7-8oz hand stitched and tooled leather. The knife fits snugly, and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 3/8" tip to handle
OAL - 10 3/4"

Price - $255 shipped to US. I prefer paypal to matt@baileyknives.com, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Damn thats a lot of hammerin'.
Someday I'll get one of your beautiful knives, can't now,but some day.
Love your work Matt.

Love the blades on these, the nice active hamon combined with the forge marks on the flats makes for a very eyecatching piece.

Mykel M,
Just to be clear, I did not hand hammer the roundbar flat, I used a press for that. No hammering was done until I turned it into a flat bar. I am not the incredible hulk, or Nick Wheeler:)

Another beauty. You know I love the micarta bolsters.
