Here is one with W2, clay quenched for a nice bold hamon. I spent quite a few pictures trying to capture it well, and think I finally got it. Those pesky hamons can be difficult to capture with a picture. The spine has been fileworked and the flats are left with the forge scale on them. This is some of Hanson's W2, cut from a big cylinder of steel and forged out nice and flat.

The handle bone with a black linen micarta bolster. The handle is held in place with pins and acraglas. It is very comfortable in the hand.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched and hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It is specifically made to fit this knife. The knife fits snugly and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 3/8" tip to handle
OAL - 10 1/8"

Price - SPF shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Beautiful as always!!

One of these days when you list a 3-4 inch hunter.. I am going to grab it!!

I love your knives!!

Amazing work. I love the way this looks. I'll save up so I can get the next one. Thanks for the pics.

I have one of your knives but am also waiting for a smaller hunter type --------------- probably have to sit at the cp now if you put one up for sale here --------------- you make great looking knives

Thanks everyone...
I have a few smaller knives that I am taking to the knife show in Ohio this weekend. I guess 3-4 inches for a blade is the way to go.
If I have any left, I will post them here. Otherwise, I guess I should get to work making some smaller knives!
