I have not made many full tangs lately, so I wanted to do a few. Here is my most recent. It is some of Aldo's W2, forged out and left with the forge scale on the flats. The blade is a recurve and has been clay coated for a nice hamon. It has been hand sanded to 2000 grit and the spine is fileworked.

The handle is bone. It is polished and looks like glass. There are some natural cracks in it, but they have been filled with superglue. I kind of actually like them, makes me think of aged bone a bit.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched and hand tooled leather. It fits the knife well and allows it to be drawn easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/4" tip to handle
OAL - 9"

Price - $215 shipped to US. I prefer paypal but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Very nice. I think the cracks are cool as well. The sheath is also nice but you made it for the wrong side. We need more lefty's around here.

Wow, I love that bone. It has the character of ivory without being taken off of a dead elephant. Nice knife!

Matthew: That is one fine looking knife at a great price. I like the bone too.

Thanks guys, I really like the bone also. I kind of thought the same thing as you Allen, but I didn't want to take anything away from ivory purists.

That's outstanding, Matt!
I can't wait to see the next in your full-tang series.
