Gorgeous! Nick, are you ever tempted to keep certain pieces. This seems like one you might hang into for the grandkids, one day.

Another great looking knife KNick!
It sure is nice to see how you go all out when you finish the handle as well as the rest of the knife.
I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Truly awesome buddy way to keep on rolling

Will congrats buddy

Thanks so much for including me on your project, Joe. I really do appreciate it, and it's been a helluva fun ride. Can't wait for the next one!

hey Nick i watched that vid and got to poking around on your channel great vids i watched the one of you sanding a blade out im going to have to get a set up like that, thanks for doing that one

Beautiful piece and the video is the only way to get the full effect of what is going on with that wood!

Thanks for sharing
Brian

Wow, Nick that is an amazing hamon...as usual for you and wonderful piece of Koa too. Good idea on the vid.

Best,
Eric

The knife came in today, and I'm in awe. The activity in the blade and the way it's set off by the killer koa, plus Nick's attention to every detail on the knife. I'm just blown away.

Thank you so much for this, Nick, and I'm so glad I thought to ask for this design. The finesse this one carries in hand is like a lightning-quick dancer compared with Joe's peerless brawler. Two unbelievably great knives.

Coop turned out some beautiful images of the knife, but I don't have the large file or I'd post them here--maybe Nick will. The video above is probably closest to the experience of holding the knife in hand, but it still doesn't capture how exquisite this wood really is.

I'd appreciate recommendations from you guys on what I need to do on the W2 to keep the finish and the hamon looking like this--a coat of oil of any particular kind or ... ?

Thanks to all,
Will

I can help. This one is a superstar ALSO!
