I forged out a couple of these. This is from Aldo's new batch of W2, and it was clay quenched and hand polished to show a nice detailed hamon.
The handle is nice ironwood. It is sculpted to fit the hand and polished to a glass like finish. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.
The sheath is 8-9oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife is held snugly and draws nicely.
