I forged this from Aldo's W2 and clay coated it for a hamon. The tang is also slightly tapered as a result of the forging.

The handle is desert ironwood. It is held in place with G-flex epoxy and peened pins. I domed the pins by peening and sanding, I kind of like the results. I have had to remove a set of scales that were fastened with peened pins, and it took a lot of work with a hammer and chisel. The handle is also sculpted for a nice comfortable grip.

The sheath is hand tooled from Wickett and Craig 8-9oz leather. The knife holds snugly and draws nicely.
