This is a W2 recurve forged from some of Hanson's W2. I left the flats as forged, because I like how it looks. The blade is clay quenched for a nice hamon, and the spine is fileworked.

The handle is Mesquite burl. It is held in place with a mosaic pin, some regular pins and acraglas.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched and tooled leather . It has been dyed and treated.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 5/8" tip to handle
OAl - 10 1/2"

Price - $sold shipped. I prefer paypal to matt@baileyknives.com, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

I really like this one!! Especially the file work! Nice attention to detail and keeping it uniformed.

LA just can't resist a Bailey - not that I blame him - I have several myself!!! Happy New Year Everyone!!!

LOL, I've got a couple as well:thumbup: LA just has more disposable cash than I do, or else I'd give him a run for his money:D

My girlfriend is calling it the "Matt Bailey tax". At this point, I'm just sending a percentage of every paycheck to him. :D

Probably going to slow down a bit and liquidate a few of my lightly used (but never abused) Baileys, so everyone should keep a lookout in the customs for sale area in February. Also looking for anything BIG that Matt has made in the past, so if you have something like that hit me up.

Thanks again for a beautiful piece of art, Matt!

Slow Down!?!? are you sure???

Just kidding. You have been a great customer and very helpful to me.

Thanks.

No worries Matt, we'll be here to pick up the slack. I really like all the natural materials you have used recently on the handles.
