I forged this out a while ago, and finally got around to finishing it. The blade is some of Don Hanson's W2. It has been clay quenched for a nice hamon (that I struggled to get decent pictures of). It was ground on a rotary platen, so it has a slight convex grind. It has been polished to 2000 grit to really bring out the details of the hamon.

The handle is a combo of black canvas micarta for the bolster, and brown canvas for the handle. It has been shaped to fit the hand well and is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.

The sheath is hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife fits in very well and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 6 3/8" tip to guard
OAL - 11"

Price - $300 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it

The line near the ricasso at the bottom edge of the blade is just a reflection.

Thanks guys. It means a lot considering some of the knives you are putting out there.
Joe, This one is on it's way, in the loving hands of the USPS.

The lines are truly incredible on this one, Matthew! The handle contours are particularly stunning. Fantastic work!
