Here is some of Hanson's W2, clay quenched for a nice hamon. The blade is hand polished to 2000 grit and etched to bring out the details.
The handle is stabilized curly maple. It moves in the light and fits well in the hand. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. I tried to make the pattern on the sheath mimic the handle.

OAL - 10 1/8"
