This one is forged from Hanson's W2. I clay quenched it for a nice bold hamon. I polished it to 1500 grit and etched it to bring out the details.
The handle is stabilized sycamore. I had the knife blade finished and my wife walked into the shop. I let her pick the handle material, and I really like the result. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It holds the knife securely. It is very durable and will last as long as the knife. (which should be several generations)
Dimensions
Blade - 3" tip to handle
OAL - 7 3/8"
Price - $sold. shipped to US. I will ship internationally for an additional fee.
I will have this posted elsewhere so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it" gets it.
