I contacted Mr. Markman and asked to try to replicate his handle shape. I don't think I quite nailed it, but this handle feels great anyways.
The blade is forged W2 from Aldo. It was clay coated to provide a hamon.

The handle is bocote, and I used a bit of a hemp wrap to provide more grip, and because I kind of like how it feels. The hemp is epoxy soaked and is very durable. The handle is held in place with peened pins and G-flex epoxy.

The sheath is hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife fits nicely and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 4 3/8" tip to handle
OAL - 9"

Price - $235 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

That's really nice Matt. I like the hemp wrap too - it offsets the otherwise very clean lines and adds some unique visual interest.

thanks everyone. I really like this one. I was debating taking it to my next knife show but thought I would offer it up here first.

I am really surprised this is not taken yet! Thats good for me....."I'll take it"

Matt, I love your knives, that's why this one will make number 4 for me.
