Here is a Bowie style knife. It is probably not a true bowie, however it is bowie like. I don't want to irritate any bowie purists. Anyways, it is forged from some of Aldo's W2, and clay coated and quenched for a nice hamon. The spine is fileworked and the flats have been left with the forge scale on them.

The handle is bias cut micarta. Most people who see it have a hard time telling it from wood grain. I like how it has the different aging colors in it. It is secured to the tang with pins and acraglas. It is also contoured to fit the hand well.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand stitched and tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It holds the sheath securely, and allows it to draw easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 3/8" tip to handle
OAL - 10"

Price - $225 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it

Fabulous knife & sheath. I would call it a Hunter as it would work perfectly for field dressing. I find this one the most appealing of all the Matt Bailey knives i have seen.

Very nice. I thought it was a wood handle until I went back & read your description again. Great looking knife & sheath.
