Sorry if you are a Bowie purist, because this knife only bears a resemblance to a bowie in the blade shape. It is however one of the favorite knives that I have made lately.
It is W2 steel, clay quenched for a very nice hamon. The spine is fileworked and slightly tapered. I left the forge scale on the flats because I like it there.
The bolster is black canvas micarta, and the handle is some nice cocobolo. It is held in place with pins and acraglas.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand stitched and tooled leather. The knife fits snugly and draws easily.
Dimensions
Blade - 6 3/8" tip to handle
OAL - 11"
Price - $SOLD shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
