Here is my ironwood brute. Clay coated and quenched for a bold hamon. The edge is razor sharp (I have a bald arm to prove it!)
The handle is some really nice ironwood. It is shaped and sculpted to fit the hand well. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It holds the knife securely and draws easily.

Blade - 3 5/8" tip to handle
OAL - 7 5/8"
